Most established international schools (Green School, BIS, CCS, Sanur Independent School and others) run early-years or kindergarten programs as part of their broader school, often the easiest entry point since younger cohorts have more flexible enrollment than heavily subscribed upper grades. Smaller standalone preschools, often with a specific pedagogical approach (Montessori being common), operate independently around Canggu, Ubud and Sanur for families not ready to commit to a full K-12 school yet.
Finding a nanny
Nannies are commonly found through word-of-mouth in expat/parent community groups (Facebook groups and local WhatsApp networks are the standard channel), through agencies that vet and place candidates, or via a family's existing household staff network. Rates and arrangements (live-in vs. part-time, hours) vary a lot — ask other parents directly about their actual experience rather than relying only on an agency's pitch.
