Nusa Penida
Dramatic cliffs, turquoise bays and Instagram's favorite viewpoint

A short speedboat ride from Sanur, Nusa Penida exploded in popularity over the last few years thanks to Kelingking Beach's T-rex-shaped cliff and Angel's Billabong's natural infinity pool. Roads are rough and the island is best explored by rented scooter or private driver, but the payoff — cliffside viewpoints with almost no crowds beyond the top three spots — is real.
