The pace of life
There's genuinely little to 'do' on Gili Meno in the conventional sense, which is the entire point — quiet beaches, a small lake at the island's center (Danau Meno, worth a short walk though not for swimming), and long stretches where you'll have a stunning stretch of sand mostly to yourself.
Underwater sculpture park
An underwater sculpture installation just off Meno's coast has become one of the island's few dedicated 'attractions' — accessible by snorkel or dive, a striking and slightly surreal thing to swim through, and a good reason to bring a mask even on an otherwise do-nothing stay.
Practicalities of staying somewhere this quiet
Meno has noticeably fewer restaurants, shops and ATMs than Trawangan or Air — bring more cash than you think you'll need and don't expect much variety in food options. This is the tradeoff for the quiet, and most visitors who choose Meno already know that going in.
