Phu Quoc Named Asia's Most Beautiful Island, Third in the World, by Condé Nast Traveler
Phu Quoc topped Asia and placed third worldwide in Condé Nast Traveler's 2025 Readers' Choice Awards, scoring 95.51/100 and beating out the Maldives, Bali and Phuket.

Phu Quoc was named Asia's most beautiful island and ranked third in the world in Condé Nast Traveler's Readers' Choice Awards 2025, announced October 7 — the 38th edition of one of the most established honors in global tourism. The island scored 95.51 out of 100, based on reader ratings across service quality, natural scenery, beaches, cuisine and hospitality.
Phu Quoc was the only Vietnamese entry on the 'World's Most Wonderful Islands' list, placing behind only Kiawah Island and Hilton Head Island in the US. Its score put it ahead of well-known competitors including the Maldives (92.31), Maui (93.35), Bali (89.84) and Phuket (84.62).
The recognition adds to a run of momentum for Phu Quoc, which has also topped other regional 'best island' rankings in recent lists and continues to see new resort and flight-route investment as its international profile grows.
