Spanish Federation President Says Spain Will Host the 2030 World Cup Final — FIFA Hasn't Confirmed Yet
With Spain, Portugal and Morocco confirmed as co-hosts and 23 candidate stadiums announced, Spain's football federation president says the final will be played there — ahead of any official FIFA decision.
The president of Spain's football federation stated Spain will host the 2030 World Cup final, though FIFA has not yet officially announced the final's location. FIFA has confirmed the tournament's "unique global footprint": Spain, Portugal and Morocco co-host the main event, while Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay each stage one centenary match marking 100 years since the first World Cup in 1930.
Of 23 candidate stadiums across the three main host countries, Spain has 11 — including Real Madrid's Santiago Bernabéu, a renovated Camp Nou, and Atlético Madrid's Metropolitano — with four venues entirely new and 11 undergoing renovation.
